Qualifications:
CPR and AED Certified Registered Dental Assistant (preferred) Excellent time management skills Computer and Smartphone literate Working knowledge of Email and Spreadsheets Math and Logic skills Problem solving Detailed oriented Dental knowledge Demonstrated leadership potential Ability to connect with strangers and prospect patients Propensity to make people smile and laugh Ability to engage with people in the community High School Diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of marketing or customer service experience preferred Bilingual (preferred) Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, if applicable
Essential Functions:
Participate in the Morning Huddle Display Smile DNA Be compassionate Educate and explain treatment to patient/parent/guardian Contracts:
setting clear expectations with patient Taking patient concerns and finding solutions Answer phones Reaching out to the proper channels with any issues that cannot be performed at the office level Make sure schedule is stocked Call broken appointments Making appointments Preparing schedule a week in advance Collect and post payments from patients under the correct provider Assist Orthodontist with new patient consults Understand payment plans and adjust Searching for consults on general schedule Submit pre-auths for Medicaid Maintain a steady patient flow by communicating with ortho lead and orthodontist Properly enter TC notes:
clinical notes for Dr.
during consults, notes from ins, tx plan notes Collaborate with Ortho Lead to ensure all patient notes are obtained by the end of every ortho day Communicate changes with patient Monitor flow at all times Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
